Hydrangea "Quick Fire" standard tree

    Planted Hydrangea quick fire standard tree. There was an existing sucker coming up from the base not sure if i should cut it off or not. Want the tree to get as big as possible. Pros or cons of leaving it on. IMG_0230.jpg Here is a picture, the tree itself looks very healthy and doing great where it is.

    You paid extra for it being in a tree shape when you bought it, leaving basal sprouts to grow will take that shape away.

    Ohh, well thank you for letting me know. I just figured the tree may have 2 trunks and may possibly be a wider tree because of it. But i didn't want it to go back to bush form!!
