So, I bought a beautiful Heuchera "Mightnight Bayou" last summer/spring. I planted it in a shady/sunny area and it seemed to do wonderful throughout the summer. In the fall (late fall, or was it early spring?), not realizing I shouldn't, I cut it back. In the same manner I cut my hosta back. (Which is another problem, my hosta hasn't come back either). Is it gone? Will it come back? Did I kill it? Or do I just need to be patient as it will take awhile to sprout back?

Obviously I should have read more about winter care for this plant.
