pampas grass care

  1. what do I do and when to make my grass flurish? I live in mid north Ga and eant it to flurish as a natural type of fence. Am I expecting too much from this?

    If you live in Georgia, you should have no problem getting pampas to thrive. I live in NE Texas and even Roundup doesn't seem to kill it. It will definitely make a good "living fence." Just give it a few years, with no special care required. Beware that pampas grass is like a razorblade bush. I've been sliced many times trying to mow around it.
