I moved into a heritage house in New Westminster last fall. There was very little in the garden then, but there is a climbing vine which is now to the top of the arbor. It is planted on both sides, has five leaves (oblate, I think), is medium green in colour and has tiny purple flowers in the spring. The flowers are unscented. The vine is quite pretty and has a slim woody base.

Any help to identify this vine would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. Thank you for identifying my vine. I didn't answer sooner as I have been quite ill.

    Thanks again.
