    Hello Pepper Pals:

This thread will be for myself, as well as other hot pepper lovers, who just can't get enough! We can discuss growing tips, varieties, show pics, whatever we want in relation to hot peppers.

Here's some photos of some of my 2009 hot pepper fruits. I just recently planted a whole list of varieties that I will be showing pics of as they grow. I grow peppers all year round, both indoors and out...

    1st ornamental pepper
2nd mixed pot of long red cayenne, bolivian rainbow, trifetti variegata, and aurora
    3rd unripe bolivian rainbow

Welcome, ShearMe - glad to see you made it!

    : )

So sorry to hear about your pepper plants that took a nose dive, Penny!

    : (

I know how crappy our weather was before. Now it's so hot you can barely stand it! Most of my plants outside just dwindled along until the temperature warmed up. Now things are growing like crazy!

Ok, just took these shots now of some of my outdoor peppers and how they're doing currently

    1st Bolivian Rainbow
2nd Trifettie Variegata and purple Aurora
    3rd Bolivian Rainbow

Yeah, the trifetti and the bolivian rainbow are so pretty. First tme growing both of them! I like how plentiful they are, and how they ripen.

Both of them grew, produced, and ripened in my kitchen window before I put them outside! They were in small little pots and thrived all Spring and early summer. I am collecting many seeds from both plants, that's for sure. Love to see pics of yours soon...

If you click on my pics three times, it will enlarge them way bigger than what you see posted here. Henry is small though, yes. You can see his pic too, at the bottom of my postings, above my Chinese proverb...

    : )

P.S. Check out how much bigger the pot has grow since the pic in my first post in this thread! The long red cayenne are in the back, but are just now putting on a new and huge crop. The 2nd shot was just another close-up I took...

Well they all look great, I've never grown the Tri-fetti, and as for the Bolivian, i dont have seeds for that one, but it looks great too.
The long red cayenne looks great, nice and healthy!

    Thanks!

Yeah, if you look closely, you can see the many little cayennes starting on the plant - there's tons! I am so excited for the ornamental beauty as well as how delicious they are! Long red cayenne is one of my favorites.

Anyway, I just love hot peppers. They lift my mood just to gaze upon them. They're cheerful little fellas and I can't imagine gardening without them.

Good luck, Pepper Lovers, with all your capsicum plants this season.

I guess it just depends on what is considered 'normal' for your area. We went from being freezing to being instantly hot! A number of people I know are even sick from it. It seems like it's all or nothing anymore, with the weather.

Ok so back to topic - where's everyone's pepper shots, already?!!!

I was surprised at how fast they germinated for me - it's been less than a week!
