I was at a local park in San Antonio with lots of wild vegetation and came across this vine with red fruit on it. I picked it and brought it home to look on the internet, but found nothing like it anywhere. Does anybody know what it is? I am very curious. It looks edible since the animals have eaten most of it. We have several types of edible plants at this park. It is always fascinating to find a new one.

Nope not a passion flower variety. My daughter thought the same thing. Unless it is some mutant variety cross pollinated with something else.

Do not rely on what is edible to birds or other mammals to determine something edible for humans. As an example, chocolate is poisonous to dogs.
