I had a chilli plant given to me last year and saved some chilli seeds to plant this year. I planted them in march, with brand new compost(sealed bag) from my local hardware store Homebase.

I had 5 seeds, therefore 5 shoots, and they have grown very well. I kept the plant indoors up until last week.

My problem, it looks nothing like the chilli plant I had last year(please see attached photo). Can anyone tell me if this is in fact a chilli plant. I thought chilli plants grew straight up.

    Any help would be appreciated.
