    Hi,

I would like to know which fertilizers and soils mango and letchi trees like best. Since these trees are in Vancouver B.C. I don't expect them to produce fruit. Thanks, Paula.

I currently use PlantProd 30-10-10 on my mango tree and intend to use the same on my lychees when they are out of the seedling stage. For many years I used little or no fertilizer on the mango and kept it root-bound in order to stunt its growth. In fact it's still in an 8" pot! It seems happy enough growing in normal potting soil.

My lychee tree doesn't seem to like normal potting soil....or maybe it needs more drainage or something. I don't know....it's been really slow growing over the past 6 years. I'll try some fertilizer and hope that works. Thanks!
