Non-bolting chard?

    Hi forum members!

This is my first time here, and it's with an unusual observation/question...

I planted a row of chard in June 2011, it grew well, overwintered, and kept growing this spring. In early summer all of the plants promptly bolted ... except one. This happy little loner is still going strong, putting on new, tasty leaves, and shows no sign of slowing down. Has anyone had this happen?

I'm (not so) secretly hoping that I've stumbled on some non-bolting mutation and I'd love to be able to propagate it -- but, of course, there are no seeds to be saved! Has anyone ever tried propagating greens from cuttings?

    Thanks in advance!

It'll probably bolt next spring. With biennials, it is fairly common for odd individuals to spend two years in the "first-year" phase.
