Hello: Arctostaphylos uva-ursi 'Vancouver Jade' was used by first nations to make tea and to smoke. Has anyone made tea from the leaves and, if so, how did you do it?
    Thanks. Jane

If you are interested in local ethnobotanicals, I suggest checking out some of Nancy Turner's books.
