    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase a plant (Romneya Harvey) in the Lower Mainland.

    Thank-you

Hi Jaquie--the only place I've seen them locally is Phoenix Perennials. Do call first, as they never have more than a few, and the price would take some consideration too (not cheap, brought up from a specialty grower in California).

I've tried them from seed a couple times now, and can germinate but never grow the seedlings past a few weeks old before they shrivel up on me, sigh...

Thank-you! I will call in advance. A friend of mine has these poppies growing in her yard on Bowen Island. They are doing exceptionally well. I can't remember which biosphere she is located, however I will find out the details and will post the results. Maybe this information will sponsor better results for us.

    Thank-you again.
