To Padraigan's question from last year re lifetime: I've a Carnosa here which I believe to be in excess of 100 year's old, in its present pot. I have known it personally for more than half that interval. It's still going strong. bb
Further to needing the hoya to be outside so it can be pollanated by various insects, my father and I bought hoya's together. I put mine on my front verandah and he put his inside. The one outside attracts hundreds of bees especially in spring and summer and puts out heaps of flowers - see attachments. Dad's one has nicer foliage (as it doesn't get any sunlight) but no flowers.
