British Columbia: Suggestions for Deer Proof Evergreen Shrub

I'm looking for suggestions for a deer proof evergreen shrub. We have two very large glazed containers against the southeast side of our home. We had a very large (6feet)camellia in each of them for years but in the winter of 2008/09 they both froze to death. We replanted in the spring. We were away this winter and when we came home last month both plants had been eaten right down to sticks by the deer.
Any suggestions for an evergreen shrub suitable for a large container and deerproof. Would like something that flowers.
