I have a few different specimens of moss phlox in my garden that are growing in a raised stone planter. They are at least a year old and had a great start in the spring but now appear to be dying. The foliage is browning/wilting and even blooms are dying. The area is south-facing. I've read that these plants can get mildew or fungus but not sure how to identify this. No white powerder on foliage. It has been a wet/cold spring here in Abbotsford, so not sure if this is contributing. Any ideas what the problem is and what to do?
I have had trouble with viability of this plant both in Nova Scotia and in BC. At first, one gets some bloom, then off it goes... no idea why.
