Hello there from Western Oregon! I have an older apple tree that I need to get on a spraying program. I am hoping to restore it to its past productivity of fruit.

I did just receive an estimate from a arbor care company.

They are proposing to spray SIX times, starting in March (this month) with an organic registered fungicide. Once a month, March, April and May. Then, once a month for Codling Moth and Apple Maggot for June and July, using organic insecticides and attractant traps. Then, back to fungicides for October.

Does this seem excessive? At approx $70 per visit, these will be $$$ apples!

Oh, and also $360 to prune the water sprouts.

    Thanks

I think that price is low. I hope you went with it.
