Identification: Can anyone identify this mushroom?

    I found this in the park behind my house and I'm interested in knowing what kind it is. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    Might be a Coprinus with black spores that auto-digests during spore discharge.

    I think Tipularia has it aright. Given the size, it looks like the recently renamed Coprinopsis atramentaria.
