something eating the leaves ..

    hi .. i'm going to attempt to put a photo i took yesterday of a rose that appears to be overrun by some little bug(ger) .. any ideas what it might be, and how i can deal with it? okay .. here comes the photo .. hopefully ..

    well .. that didn't work .. wrong photo .. will try again .. i think i've got it this time .. just don't know how to delete the first photo .. well, maybe you'll enjoy that one anyway ..

    could be damage from rose slug.

    well .. today i experienced firsthand the rose slug .. actually, about 300 or more! .. i spent a fair bit of time squishing them from a number of roses .. they have a voracious appetite .. i've actually seen their 'mark' in past years, but this is the first time i got to know who leaves the skeletal leaves .. so, much appreciate your passing along the answer to my query .. lesson learned ..
