I am a tenant in a house with a big pear tree between two apple trees. This is the third summer I'll be in the house and last summer was the first year I found a lone conference/bosc pear tree on the lawn below the tree. The tree is currently covered in blossoms and I want to know if there is anyway to pollinate this tree to get pears?

The RHS has excellent information about choosing pear cultivars (here), including information about pollination requirements. However (cutting to the chase), for most pears you will not have a crop if there isn't a pollenizer (definition) nearby. On the other hand, if the tree is really a 'Conference', which is known to produce fruits without a pollenizer, then all you need are bees.
