    Hello,

I live in the Vancouver area, and was given a Porcelain Berry Vine as a gift. I know it is invasive on the east coast of the States, but is it invasive in B.C.? I love the look of this plant, but won't plant it until I know it is not invasive.

    Thank you,
    Trishmarg

I've not seen or heard of any significant seeding out and spreading into undeveloped land in this region. It is native back East so of course is able to reproduce and establish in numbers there. Here wet summer climate plants often have a problem with seedling survival in locations not being irrigated.
