British Columbia: backyard grape arbour

    I trimmed our grape arbour in mid March, several vines bled for about a week after the timming. Now I wonder when to expect a bud break and thereafter the shoots.

    The buds on my grapes in north Burnaby are swollen (have been for a long time) but haven't broken open yet. Their just waiting for a spell of warm, sunny weather. Everything is very late this year.
