I may suggest some names, please correct me if I am wrong thx plant1 Cylindropuntia tunicata plant2 Euphorbia candelabrum plant3 Mammillaria matudae plant4 Neoraimondia herzogiana
Believe all of them are correct except Neoraimondia herzogiana - in your sample the ribs are thicker and the spines angled downward.
1. Could be right. 3. Mammillaria, but I don't think the spination fits matudae. Perhaps spinosissima/pilcayensis? 4. Pilosocereus pachycladus?
Thank you for your help I just learned that 1 could be Cylindropuntia rosea ?!! Is it right? For the others, I will check later
I did not find the online search satisfying in searching for a distinction between the two. It appears, perhaps, that the spination of rosea is fine/thinner then your sample; and of course the flower is rose toned. Based on weak evidence I would say your first guess is correct. A comparison of an apical view of the growing tip of the two would be ideal.
Here are some photos of plants I identified but I am not sure I did it all correctly !!! a confirmation would be very welcome. plant 5 Aloe lastii Plant 6 Aloe brevifolia var depressa Plant 7 Thelocactus rinconensis Plant 8 Coryphantha pycnacantha
It's me again! Can any member help with the identification of these cacti??? Unfortunately when I photograghed the plants, they were not in flower !!! many thankx Plant 9 .................??? Plant 10 ................??? Plant 11 ................???
7. Possibly correct. 8. I find Coryphantha hard to identify (I don't think I can name my own if put in front of me without labels :-)), but pycnacantha does not offset readily. I think it looks more like an elephantidens. 9–11 look like Mammillaria, and since I have owned just a few plants from this big genus I hope that someone else can tell you what they are. No. 10 reminds me of dixanthocentron, 9 and 11 of two thin M. pringlei.
