It's hard to give info when I can't directly label the pictures, but I kept multiple photos for each plant next to eachother.

The last one is kind of hard to make out, but I felt the leaves resembled the shape of an oak, but they were lighter and more wispy.

The one before that is also not horribly clear to see but it might help to know it is a shrub.

    Juglans californica?
    Venegasia carpesioides
    Isocoma menziesii
Dead Hirschfeldia incana growing through possibly Brickellia californica, though the habitat doesn't seem right for Brickellia
