Hi, kid just stuffed one of these berries in his mouth, think I got it out but not sure.
Have been scouring web trying to figure out what this stuff is (grows all around the condo complex) but no luck.

It is probably super easy to ID but I know zilch about plants.

    Any help appreciated.

Clip a piece with all the parts present and take it to an independent garden center.

Ok guys, I feel totally stupid... At first I thought this was a strange bush with the berries but after closer examination all these berries are actually dropping off an overhanging tree.... Can you let me know what kind of tree this is ?

Told you I was plant/tree/shrub ignorant!

    Probably a Schinus.

Agree with Ron. Looks like Schinus terebinthifolia.

Thanks guys, quite a relief to put a name to the "berries"/seeds.
