Help ID Grand Canyon Flower

    The attached flower picture was taken on July 12th at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Any ideas as to it is?

    It would be nice to be able to see the entire plant, but perhaps Chrysothamnus nauseosus?

    Chrysothamnus nauseosus should have tomentose leaves and branches. This is probably Chrysothamnus linifolius which is recorded from the Grand Canyon area.
