This tree was behind a 15 foot wall; just a bit hanging over. Photos include end of branch silhouette, flower and fruit (The fruit from a great distance - mature fruit in a shadow on the left). Any help greatly appreciated.

Something in the Sapindaceae; my knee-jerk reaction was Longanberry, but they're not quite right for that.

Anyone think this could be in the family Annonaceae?

Flowers look wrong to me. Annonaceae generally have very differently arranged flowers than what you're showing, and not nearly so many on each branch either.

Thanks, Lorax - back to the drawing board. Haven't found monoecious Sapindaceae that quite matches the male flowers. This tree is huge - can't see trunk as it's behind a wall in a construction area.
