I thought I had found a wild grape plant near my woodpile and readied it for transplant. After checking online, I'm pretty sure it is not a grape plant.

I'm now suspicious that this might be a bad boy. Is this Japanese knotweed or another aggressor?

    Thank you!

    What a relief!

I just checked further online and you are right. There it is, Smilax rotundifolia L. - Roundleaf greenbrier.

    Noninvasive, and native!! Wonderful!

    Thank you Tupularia!
