I have a tri-colored beech that is about three years old and truly doing beautifully, this year, due to all the rain, I think, we have had. What and when should I feed this tree?

Generally speaking ornamental shade trees that are happy don't need fertilizing. If it is lacking or if you want to give it a bit of a boost, wait till mid Spring then apply a seaweed or kelp emulsion product.

Sample soil and have it tested before fertilizing. Fertilize according to recommendations on test report.
