I put a couple of new maples in the landscape this afternoon.

I moved a Crepe Myrtle that was needing more sun to the back yard and put my Shishigashira in its place.

I also took out some sort of Holly tree and put this nice little Japanese Sunrise in the ground.

This gets my Maple count to seven in the front yard and I have a couple more to plant pretty soon. My wife has a home office and these two are right outside the door so she can enjoy them every day.

The other pic is of the larger Butterfly I bought last month and planted next to one of my Crimson Queens (I think thats what they are. Please see my other thread. )

Very nice! Looks like you've started displaying all the classic symptoms of Japanese maple addiction. :) Just wait until you start in on the dwarf conifers, lol

Yes the Maple bug has bitten hard. They are just so interesting and unique. No plans on dwarf conifers right now but I have a lot of yard left to work on. :)
