I have a blue spruce that seems to be losing it's blue tint. I have been told that it is the soil and there are soil additives that will help the tree to maintain it's blue tint. Is this true and if so what do I need to do

Seem to be bluer in drier climates. Blueness is caused by a wax that protects the needles from aridity.
