    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on what their definitions (or commonly-known definitions) of the "West Coast Gardenesque Style" is. Can you think of well-known West Coast Gardenesque examples/post some photos of them?

I only have a vague description right now: Lots of broadleaved trees and shrubs, lots of sculptural and visual material, mostly evergreen with about 30% deciduous material.

Could one simply apply the common definition for a Gardenesque garden style, with the elements of Japanese/Asian influence (that prevail in many designs here in Vancouver) to get a definition of West Coast Gardenesque?
