Diseased Holly

Discussion in 'Woody Plants' started by Kevin-Guest, Sep 22, 2004.

  1. I live in Tampa, Florida and have a holly in my front yard and one in the back. The one in the back is healthy but the one in the front appears to have some disease that hase caused several branches to have swollen, rotted joints. The growth outward fom those joints has been killed off. I think the tree is salvageable but I don't know what to treat and don't want to pay $$$$ for an arborist to come out. I can post pictures if it is helpful. I just moved into the house so I'm not sure how long the tree has had this problem. Can anyone help?
