Very small reddish orange flower 5/16"/.08 cm. It is obviously a Lathyrus variety, but I can't positively identify it specifically. It fits the description for Lathyrus setifolius but I can't determine if that variety exists in North America. Closest other variety might be Lathyrus cicera, but the flower for that variety seems a bit larger. Growing on a partially shaded Southern Oregon hillside under White Oak and Madrone. Anyone willing to hazard a guess?

Found a possible match on the Oregon State Flora Project. Could this be Lathyrus sphaericus?
