I found this plant along the roadside in Central Arkansas. It looks like a species of mint but I cannot find it anywhere. I have searched the web and this site for anything looking like it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Sorry, it smells like mint also, but a fairly light scent. I have searched online quite extensively for different mints but I can't seem to find one that matches this.
Perilla cv. perhaps? http://www.clovegarden.com/ingred/mt_perilz.html [http://www.lsuagcenter.com/mcms/web...37/PERILLAMINTPLANTINBACKGROUNDHASSEEDED2.JPG
I think you may be correct Saltceder, That looks similar, I got some more pictures of it growing, maybe that will help some?
Thanks everyone for input on this, after further research I found that you were indeed correct Saltceder. The plant I have is actually "Peri indicutescens (L.) Britt", which grows wild in this area as a weed.
