Identification: Spider plant id

    Hello,

    My mother recently received this plant as a gift with the generic title of "spider plant" and I was hoping someone could give me a scientific name for care/propagation purposes.

    I picked up a bad habit of coming here first without looking anything up on my own.
    It took me about 30 seconds to find it online....

    Chlorophytum comosum i think

    I like the variegates leaves. They're prettier than the plain green ones. I have that one too. It's a no-fuss plant.
