    Hello there

I was wondering if anybody can tell me what kind of a plant this is, because it has been dieing lately and the leaves kept droping one at a time, the stem had leaves uniformaly all around it, and I dont know what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

Oh Yes, it is very likely. Thanks Saltcedar. Is there anything special about this plant that I should know or just the regular information that I can find on the internet? And again Thanks.

That was my very first post.

Watch out for burnt foliage/flowers possibly due to salty water or fertilizers.

    One more thing.
I ve kept it indoors under flourescent light, because you know its winter, the leaves dont seem to get any better,or any worse for that matter, they are stable (having thier tips brown or whatever). But whats worrying me is that I see no signs of new leaves forming, no buds and the tip of the stem has been the same way sine I bought the plant, I am worried that if the four leaves left were to fall one by one(just like the others) I will be left with a stem with nothing on it, and the plant will be beyonde the reviving point.
Any help to perk up this plant(Pics are in the 1st post) would be very welcome. Thanks

It looks like it's growing in earth (soil).
Can you purchase a potting mix and
rinse away all the old soil and replant in
potting mix? There could be something
toxic (salt, manure, etc.) that's harming
    the plant.

Do they do that? Do offspring come as new shoot, and then I would have to divide them?
its cool, I can do that, If you think its going to help. FYI I use tap water, could that be it?
I mean, when I bought it from the supplier it was fine in its own soil. Its only when I brought it home that it took a turn to the worse.
Eventhough I will replace the soil as you said. Thanks for bearing with me. And man are you fast to reply. I am very thankful.

I don't understand your question. I said nothing about propagation.

Your water could have salt, fluoride or other harmful minerals that
the plant can't tolerate. Rainwater could leach out the residues
that became concentrated in the soil.

Oh I am sorry my bad, when you said "growing in the soil" I thought you meant something like its putting its energy in making offspring.
Its fine. Thanks for the advice, by the way, Whats the temperature like in Texas, in this time of the year?
