Attached are photos of what I assume to be two different coral fungi.
One is white in color and was growing out of a decomposing log.
The second is beige in color and was growing out of leaf litter.
Both were found in W. Quebec.
Help with ID would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    #1 could be Hericium coralloides...?

    First: Hericium spp?
    Second: Ramaria spp?

I agree - first is a Hericium, second is very likely Ramaria (Seems more like Ramaria than Clavaria, Clavicorona re habitat and appearance).
The Hericium is lovely - I'm jealous of your sighting!

Thank you to all for the help with genus level ID.
I agree that the Hericium is lovely.
Infact, two very similar specimens were photographed one week apart in different locations.
As an aside, I did some research on Hericium and discovered that they are edible and very good, tasting like lobster!
Had I known that at the time I might have been tempted to try a sample.
    Thanks again for the help.
