I have started some 'dierama pulcherimum' from seed last year and panted them out Sept. of last year. Coming back slowly. I also purchased one in a 1gal. pot this spring as I thought that I had lost them.
If anyone has this plant, would you know how long they take to flower?
What type of site do you have them in and watering requirements?
    Any help would be great.

I tried (and failed) to grow this plant years ago, when was living in a much warmer place. My understanding is that they like very good drainage. Christopher Lloyd, the English garden writer, grows them in cracks between the flagstones on his terrace. Aren't they native to New Zealand or someplace like that? So they probably want good sunlight.

They are from the summer rainfall areas of Africa, said to "require plenty of water in the growing season. Although they like the sun, they are not plants for a hot, dry border." from "Dierama, the Harebells of Africa", Hilliard and Burtt 1991.
