British Columbia: Collecting trees

    Not sure if this is in the wrong forum but i would like to know what the regulations are in british columbia in regards to collecting trees from the wild for bonsai use. do i need a special license or permit? thanks

    Private property: permission of the owner.

    First Nations lands: permission of the First Nation.

    Public lands: need to read whatever regulations govern the particular designation of the property. Since these range from municipal to provincial to federal, there's quite a range of possible answers. In general, parks of any type would require a permit. Ecological reserves would be no.

    thanks for the reply. ive been searching for more info about it on government websites but cant seem to find any further info. ill give the ministry of forests a call see what they say
