The bark is being peeled off by something - Any ideas? We live in North Vancouver, BC Any solutions? How to protect damaged significant-sized branches?
Also something to consider is when the plants age they tend to tear some what near the base and the trunk and larger stems get larger (specially in moist areas) This wont harm the plant but may give the appearance of the bark flaking off or starting to peel.
Okay...here are a few pics - hope they are clear enough No deer in the City of Vancouver Lots of squirrels, raccoons and skunks though. Thank everyone - your help is much appreciated :o)!
