Identification: Spiky orange fungus

    Found this one in the Seymour demonstration forest in North Vancouver. I have no idea what it is.

    My guess would be Calocera viscosa
    (Yellow Staghorn Fungus or Staghorn Jelly Fungus)

    Two more photos

    Thank allelopath. I did a google images search on Calocera viscosa and I would tend to agree with you. The only differences I can see is this fungus has hollow base and the photos all seem to be of spikes. Not sure if this is a big deal or not.
