    flowers: purple

    blooming: first noticed June, July

    I'm not an expert in any sense but could this be a Rhexia Mariana? I am attaching a comparison picture to view. This is an interesting flower because most have 5 petals. It reminds me of a Clematis or something in the buttercup family as well. A real head scratcher!
