Please identify the planr from the attached rhizome picture.

I'm with Ron - I'd suspect Apios. Is there any reason that you don't have a foliage picture?

 

I do not know but the root is as small as 1cm and as long as 10-15cm

 

this root came from serbia and the identification was not available because the plant might have some medical properties

 

this is no apis root.
