Help identify this plant

Hi, I have this strange plant growing in my backyard. Not sure if its poppy plant or not. Can someone identify these plants please?

Looks like it might be Sonchus, (a weed). A plant in the Asteraceae-not a poppy.

 

Thanks for your reply. Just making sure its not some illegal plant like cannabis or marijuana weeds something.
