Killer plant 'eats' great tit at Somerset nursery

    Hey, wait a minute. Title IDs bird as 'great tit'; article IDs bird as 'blue tit'.
    So which tit is it? Parus major or Cyanistes caeruleus?

    Parus major - note the white on the outer tail feathers (no white there on Cyanistes caeruleus).

    Whichever it is I suspect the plant won't have to find another meal for a long time!

    I shall contact this grower to see if I can get some breeding stock. There is a bright future for a strain that prefers Starlings.
