By some strange and bizarre circumstances a man came to my garden and sprayed my Pieris and my Amelanchier with a solution of diazinon and funginex. I was horrrified as I don't spray or use pesticides in my garden. This was on April 20. On April 21 when I went out to look at my garden, many of the plants near these sprayed trees seem to be wilted. I am hoping that is just a reaction to the late, hot afternoon sun and not a result of the spray. Are my plants in danger of dying?

Likely it is the weather change but, its possible depending on the plants affected that it is from overspray. not much you can do but make sure to irrigate as necessary and perhaps give the area a rinse of sorts with the hose. Can I ask what the deal was with someone walking up and spraying? Did you find out why?
