we have been living in our home now for 2 years, we freshly tilled an area in our garden, and let it sit... however... a plant started growing, that we have never seen before, and it is fascinating!!!! out of living in western new york... we have never seen a plant like this... and neither has my neighbor who gardens for a living...

I have searched several databases on the web, and have come up empty handed...

So... you all are my last resort!!!!!!!!!!!! please help......!!!!!!!

Datura for sure, careful if you have kids or pets, very toxic, interesting history. Look it up on Google.

I also have these Blue Datura Angel Trumpets, growing WILD in my garden; had them at a different house, a few years back, but brought my compost with me, to the new house, and these were the gifts contained in that compost. Those seed pods burst, obviously the birds carry them; so, now have them growing all over my yard, where they shouldn't be! They're attractive, but have the longevity of a weed.
