winter time for banana trees.

  1. well ,,my grandfather lived in AR,southern state ,vary warm,and humid, even in winter,but the banana tree has to be pulled in winter,he used to ,,,simply dig it up put it under the house,in the spring ,,put it back in the ground.TH@s it.. if its in a pot .GET A BIGGER ONE,,the bigger the pot the bigger the tree. its nice to have bananatrees in a pot in the house looks grate ,,but if you plant it in the grownd with natural sun...WOW th@ thing will grow like wild fire.i have 5 of them in the house.looks best with 4 to 5 leaves.watch out for mites.there easy to kill tho..
