Hello, I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and would like to plant a hedge of arborvitae in part shade in my back yard inside an old wrought iron fence. I would like to trim it about 1 1/2 - 2 ft deep and 6 feet tall. The depth would be just thick enough so that you can barely see through it. I also would like this hedge to be filled in by the end of next summer.

Can anyone tell me which of the species, if any, would be suitable for this purpose? Also, can I plant them as close as two feet apart off center to help the fill in process?
