So there have been these odd insects running around the cement block under our deck next to the lawn. They come out not very often and when they do the seemingly scavenge and quickly dart back to the lawn. I caught one to take a picture and it so happened to be the biggest I had seen yet. When I put it down it darted back to the lawn after making a run at me first lol. Then burrowed faster than anything I have seen before. I honestly have never seen these before and was wondering if someone could identify. Here is the photo:
