I found this plant growing on a nearly solid rock shelf in the southwest area of the city of Austin, TX. The size is about that a 3-inch diameter. There has been talk that it may be a specific invasive, but I wanted to post here to see if I can get a positive ID. There was a certain sense of urgency expressed to remove this plant in another forum. I didn't really want to remove it without a positive ID. However, if it is the plant preliminarily identified, it would be best to address it at this stage of its development. So,I have pulled it up just so it didn't develop further. Thank you for your assistance.
